Pierre obviously dodged a bird attack, just in the nick of time I'd say. Pierre is feasting on Ruber pollen. 5D2 + EF300mm IS f/4.

Gorgeous image, and neat swallowtail specimen missing a chunk of wing. The ruber bloom looks a bit like a Valentine's Day heart.
